About Coach Doug: Coach Doug is a SoccerHelp Premium Subscriber who started using the SoccerHelp methods about 2 years before this DVD was filmed. At the time it was filmed, he lived in San Antonio, Texas, and he now lives in Central America. He started playing at age 12, played in high school, 2 years at college as a goalkeeper, has played overseas for military teams against European club teams, and at the time the DVD was filmed was in his mid-40’s. He has played every position on the field, has coached youth teenage girls’ teams and started coaching again so he could coach his daughter, MacKenzie, who is in the DVD. She has been playing soccer with him since the day she could walk. At age three she could dribble with both feet without looking down, pass, receive and shoot accurately. She runs to space, goes to goal with arm up raised and calls out loud for "passes" and "crosses".
